- Act as one of four signing officers;
- Make all payments in a timely manner;
- Keep a record of receipts and payments;
- Maintain a list of members;
- Receive and present a financial statement prepared by the accountant for the Annual Meeting;
- Oversee and monitor the keeping of the book of accounts of the Association by a bookkeeper appointed by the President;
- Attend all meetings as requested by the President and assist the President in any manner relevant to the execution of the President’s duties under the constitution;
- Work with the Bookkeeper to ensure that the financial transactions of the Association are being properly recorded and maintained , and verify that such transactions were legitimately undertaken with regard to the business of the Association and its best interests, and report any concerns or issues therewith to the Executive Committee;
- Prepare an annual budget showing a breakdown of the anticipated expenses for the coming year to be presented to the membership at the Annual Meeting or another meeting called for this purpose;
- Attend all meetings as requested by the President and assist the President in any manner relevant to the execution of the President’s duties under the constitution;
- Sit annually on at least one additional Association Committee at the discretion of the President.
