Greetings Members,
Update on EAA Elections 2021.
Below are the Members that have been acclaimed for their positions. However, two positions are still vacant:

Officer At Large - job description below
According to the EAA Constitution:
“After the closing date of nominations, if any position has no candidates, nominations for those positions will reopen for an additional five (5) days only. A person who has already declared themselves as a candidate for another position for which there is more than one candidate may withdraw and put themselves forward for a reopened position during this time.”
These two positions will be open for nominations for five (5) days as of today, April 18, 2021, at 8 p.m. The nominations for these two (2) will close on April 23, 2021, at 7:59 p.m.
If you are interested in running for the above two (2) positions then you must:

Update on EAA Elections 2021.
Below are the Members that have been acclaimed for their positions. However, two positions are still vacant:
Membership Engagement Officer - job description below
- Be responsible for coordinating the Spring Awards Dinner and chair the associated committee;
- Facilitate Charitable Funding applications and student awards;
- Liaison to new/supply members to ensure they are receiving Association information and Employment Terms and Conditions.
Officer At Large - job description below
- Attend all meetings of the Board of Trustees for the Waterloo Region District School Board;
- Be responsible for sending flowers and gifts and managing the associated fund;
- Promote, organize, collect and Chair the Committee for the annual E.A.A. Member Appreciation Award
- Perform other duties as assigned by the President.

- Submit an EAA OFFICIAL INTENTION TO RUN FORM - 2021 to the Secretary (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and the President (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) no later than 7:59 pm on April 23, 2021. Any submissions after that time and date will not be considered eligible to run for office as per the Constitution.
- Submit Candidate Flyer - All candidates must email a copy of their campaign flyer to the Secretary (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) no later than 11:59 pm on April 27, 2021. This should include all of your contact information and the position for which you are running. Campaign Material shall be limited to one sheet (8 1/2 x 11) double-sided. The Campaign flyers will then be posted on our EAA Website.
